On week three we learned how to write cornell notes. We wrote cornell notes about identity to help us with our project we are doing after break. We also read stories for the project. I read a story about a homeless native american man named Jackson Jackson who found his grandmother regalia that was stolen forever ago... He decides to buy it back, but it costs one thousand dollars. During the reading, we were to keep in mind our big question and write down things that relate to it, My big question is "what does money do to your judgement?" We learned all of this this week because it does tie together. It's the start of our power of identity project. I also learned ways that I can present my project. By gaining the audiences attention. My main question is more help understanding what we are doing for the project... I'm confused as to what it's supposed to be. I would rate my understand of the material a 6/10 because of my little bit of confusion about the project. My participation this week was good, I don't feel like I slacked off much, and I always kept engaged in the conversation and activities we did. I need to work on my cornell notes a little better though, they're kind of sloppy. Overall, week three was good.

This week, week two of the last trimester I learned many things. One major thing that I learned is that everyone has a story and that you cannot judge them without properly knowing that. Everyone wrote where i'm from poems and had to read them out loud to the class. What I think the main point of this week was about identity and who everyone really is. Their background, race, gender, and personality is a key to who people are. Many people, use their race as a major identifying factor to their identity. I think that every "main idea" topic that we did really connected together in my mind in a way of writing and talking about who we are as people and what you know as a person. I don't think I have any unanswered questions from this week. I honestly think that my participation was really good this week. I always stayed on task and did everything that I was supposed to, I also equally engaged in talking to my table when needed.
